I'm switching from quicken, and so far, this is my favorite solution. Compared to quicken, it's slightly slower (you have to click more to get to the right "category" (which in gnucash is actually an account)) but it's still quite good. Of course, you have to categorize them by hand. From then on, you import the ofx file into gnucash, so that skips the "enter transaction manually" step. It's sometimes not completely straightforward to setup a bank, and I wasn't able to set it up for a couple of my banks, but it works quite well for most of them.
